It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia is constantly referenced and used as meme bait, but a lot of the older episodes have really, really not aged well. For example, the first episode is called “The Gang Gets Racist.” A lot of the humor revolved around the gang being well-meaning, but ultimately showing a lot of prejudice. At the time, this was a satirical form of situational humor. This is sort of the tip of the iceberg as far as some of the problematic themes of the show.
That being said, there are still a lot of gems that a lot of people would like to enjoy. In that spirit, I made a list of all the episodes I could find that contain popular memes. This list will not list the memes themselves so that you can try and find them in the episodes, like a scavenger hunt.
