Bus Adventures Illustration Challenge #1

Here’s the drill: We post a description of someone we spotted on the bus, and you have a week to illustrate it. Send it in and we will post the best ones (Or probably just all of them) with credits to the artists. Maybe a little write up about what we like about them. Feel free to be as creative with it as you want, there really are no wrong answers here.

Anyway, this is the first one and you should join in because it will be a fun exercise.

There are no prizes. This site is basically running on hopes and dreams, so this will just be for funzies. Feel free to make art and do with it what you will.

Please send submissions along with who you want to be credited as:

  • Email to metatrontheblue@gmail.com
  • Message on facebook/instagram/twitter (also feel free to follow us)
  • Some other means besides telepathy (still in development, sorry)

Here’s the description, you have until 3/15/19 to get in your submissions:

As far as anyone on the bus could tell, she could have been completely automated; synthetic/”borrowed” skin stretched over simplified facial features. The rest of her head was covered by a dilapidated panda-head hat. The fur stuck together, making it look like a black and white spotted sea anemone. Her body was obscured beneath a lumpy coat, and she walked with the slow deliberation of gyroscopic balance stabilization.
